Q: Are sessions in person or telehealth?
A: Currently, sessions are via telehealth with Dr. Merino. We will update this page when she goes back to seeing patients in person.
Q: What insurances do you take?
A: Dr. Merino is currently in network with United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna
Q: How much will I pay out of pocket for a session if I don’t have insurance?
A: As of 2023, Dr. Merino charges $250 out of pocket for sessions without insurance.
Q: How many hours of notice do I need to give Dr. Merino before cancelling my appointment?
A: You need to give at LEAST 24 hours notice before cancelling your appointment. If you do not, you will be charged a $100 Late Cancel fee. If you no show, it will also be a $100 no show fee.
Q: What days/hours does Dr. Merino see patients?
A: Dr. Merino currently sees patients Monday-Thursday from 10am to 4pm.

A: You can access our client portal at merinopsych.theranest.com using your login info you created when you signed your intake paperwork.
Q: How can I access my telehealth link via the client portal?
